At the end of each school year we teach a unit on Dinosaurs in kindergarten and cart our dear little people to the Dinosaur Park. I really did mess it up this year though, and put the wrong day on the bus request, thus landing us with no bus on the day we'd planned to go. Then there was a mad scramble to change the fieldtrip to another day. However, since the weather was only nice on the day we ended up going, I guess heaven really does look out for boneheads :)

Anyway, we ended up spending the next to last day, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Dinosaur Park. It required a packed lunch & some popsicles for a snack later to keep everyone going, but that wasn't really a big dead. The only casualties were a couple of jumpropes that got thrown up in a tree. (Note to self: DO NOT turn your back on the naughty boys, no matter how much someone else may need to go to the bathroom!)
The kids really did have a wonderful time, even though the day was a bit long. Needless to say, our little people were plenty chirpy on the way to the park and dead silent on the way back. In fact a few even fell asleep! Pretty funny. And a really great day over all. Hear they are in the picture I take every year. I like to call it:

"AAAaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!"
